Veli Batmaz has been working as a lecturer at Şırnak University/Department of Civil Engineering since 2022. He is also a doctoral student in the Department of Civil Engineering at Dicle University. He specializes in the field of hydraulics. His research areas include wastewater modeling, drinking water network design and optimization, rainfall-runoff modeling, stormwater management, and drainage modeling. He is currently conducting research in these areas.
